Introduction

The facility enables advanced material synthesis for silicon, perovskite, quantum dot, and ultrahigh efficiency III-V multijunction solar cells. Department of Energy (DOE) funds photovoltaic (PV) research and development (R&D) at its national laboratory facilities located throughout the country. It provides clean, efficient power wherever you need it and can also generate profit. The container is equipped with foldable high-efficiency solar panels, holding 168–336 panels that deliver 50–168 kWp of power. Photovoltaics and basic energy sciences are two major areas of research conducted in the Solar Energy Research Facility. AECOM is the trusted global infrastructure leader committed to delivering a better world. What is emerging is the concept of a stand-alone hybrid renewable energy system that can be transported easily and dropped at a location – to start generating power with a minimum of setup time. Globally, over **730 million people** lack reliable electricity, concentrated in regions like Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
