Koelnmesse has announced that it has started operating what it describes as the largest inner-city photovoltaic project in Cologne, Germany. One of the city's largest photovoltaic plants is to be built in Cologne-Dünnwald, which will not only set new standards in local energy supply but also serve as a model for the energy transition in urban areas.
