Introduction
The Ministry of Economy announced in July that the Georgian State Electrosystem would connect these five solar plants to the national grid. The agency is actively integrating green energy, alongside ongoing construction of 125 MW wind farms with a total investment of $195. Five solar power plants are set to be connected to the national energy grid for the first time in Georgia’s history, marking a historic step for the country’s renewable energy development. Each month, we track projects in development and update our list of the largest solar projects expected to come online in Georgia.
