Introduction
Here, we report on the first demonstration of efficient polymer solar cells fabricated on optically transparent cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) substrates. Each molecule of this polymer cons sts of many sugar molecules, all linked inta chain. These include flexible solar cells, supercapacitors (SC), lithium-ion batteries and developing energy device innovations. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), a renewable and sustainable biopolymer derived from natural cellulose, has emerged as one of the most promising material for advancing solar cell technologies. Its unique physicochemical properties, including high thermal stability, biocompatibility, and tunable.
