Introduction
When the electrode is powered down, the convex points of the nut melt and fuse together with the contact points of the plate to form a strong joint. This machine is equipped with two nut conveyors, which transport different types of nuts between the two electrodes. Projection welding machines apply the current and weld forces on these predetermined weld points, unlike spot welding where the weld is determined by the size or shape of the electrode. Nut welding is a type of pressure welding, which requires the projection welding process in resistance welding.
