Introduction
Typically vapor absorption machines or chillers are used in solar conditioning. Energy is saved by using the heat generated from the solar panels to regenerate the absorbent in the chiller. A guiding principle for us is that the technologies and processes we create should allow for the production of food year-round. With indoor production facilities, such as our re-purposed shipping containers, keeping the indoor temperature at a level ideal for plant growth can be a challenge. Solar power containers combine solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage, inverters, and auxiliary components into a self-contained shipping container.
