Introduction
By entering the enclosure dimensions, ambient temperature, and either power or surface temperature, the calculator gives a quick estimate of heat dissipation and temperature rise under steady-state conditions. This is the temperature at which the total radiation from the container to ambient is the same as the radiation from the sun through the exposed area. It lets you calculate either: The maximum power dissipation for a given surface temperature.
