Introduction
This project, selected through an international tender with six proposals, will be the largest energy storage system in Central America once operational by the end of 2025. 3 megawatt-hours (MWh),allowing for the safe and stable supply of electricity from the PV power plant to the main island of Mahé and further increasing the resilience of the national grid of the Seychelles. We are planning to place a 160,000 metric tonne SUZMEX floater at Lome, Togo (with 60,000 metric tonne gasoline and 100,000 MT) ensuring uninterrupted cargo supply to the Western and Southern African regions. As the photovoltaic (PV) industry continues to evolve, advancements in Lomé harbour solar container plant operation have become critical to optimizing the utilization of renewable energy sources.
